What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Information we collect

  • Order details — name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the products you buy.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never receive your full card number.
  • Messages — emails you send us, and messages you send through the contact form or the chat on our website (with your name and email address, so we can reply).
  • Hej Club — if you join, your email address (and first name, if you give it) so we can send you your member code. We never sell it, and we’ll delete it if you email support@hejskin.com.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To answer your questions.
  • To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.

We do not sell your personal information. We do use the Google tag and the Meta Pixel to measure our ads and to show our products to people who have visited our store (see Cookies below). Under some US state laws this counts as “sharing” for advertising: to opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we honor it automatically and then don’t load the Meta Pixel) or email support@hejskin.com.

Who we share it with

  • Stripe — to process payments.
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
  • Our website host — to run this site.
  • Google — to measure visits and purchases that come from Google Shopping (see Cookies below), and to show our store rating from Google. After checkout, Google may offer you a short survey about your order (Google Customer Reviews): for it, Google receives your email address, order number, delivery country and expected delivery date, and only emails you the survey if you agree.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — to measure visits and purchases that come from our ads, and to show our products to people who have visited our store (see Cookies below).
  • Resend — to deliver messages you send through our contact form or chat to our inbox.

Cookies and local storage

We use the Google tag to see how visitors find us through Google and which products they buy. It sets cookies with a random ID and sends Google the pages you view and completed orders (order value and products — never your name, email, address or payment details). You can block these cookies in your browser or turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. The Meta Pixel works the same way for Facebook and Instagram: it sets cookies with a random ID and sends Meta the pages and products you view, what you add to your bag and completed orders, so we can measure our ads and show our products to people who have visited us. You can turn off ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. We also keep simple visit statistics of our own: a random ID saved in your browser’s local storage lets us count visits, the pages you view, how you found us, your device type and your approximate location (city, worked out from your IP address, which we don’t store). These statistics stay with us and are never sold or shared. Your shopping bag is saved in local storage too, so it’s still there when you come back. Stripe may set cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To make a request, email support@hejskin.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Retention

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet legal and accounting requirements.
